We are thrilled to welcome Julie M Feldkamp, APRN, to The Kidney and Hypertension Center (KHC). With more than two decades of experience in nephrology, Julie brings a wealth of expertise and a patient-first philosophy that aligns perfectly with the KHC mission.
Meet Julie M Feldkamp, APRN
Julie’s journey in nephrology began in 2006 as a BONENT-certified dialysis technician, a role that set the foundation for a career defined by deep clinical knowledge and genuine commitment to patient outcomes. She went on to earn her BSN from Galen College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from Walden University, where she was on the dean’s list.
Throughout her education, she stayed connected to dialysis in every capacity: as a nurse, nurse manager, and vascular access coordinator across acute, post-acute, and chronic care settings. She developed specialized expertise in hemodialysis, home therapies, and apheresis before pursuing her nurse practitioner credentials.

Becoming a nurse practitioner was the natural next step for someone with Julie’s drive and depth of experience. She has a real talent for sitting down with patients, understanding what they’re up against, and helping them find the path forward that works best for their lives, whether that’s selecting the right renal replacement therapy or navigating the kidney transplant process. She is passionate about patient education and prevention, and she stays current with the latest in kidney disease and treatment. Julie is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
