Isaac P. Thomas, MBBS, MD, MRCP
Dr. Thomas has been with The Kidney & Hypertension Center based in northern Kentucky for the past 25+ years being trained in general nephrology, tackling challenges posed by diabetes-associated kidney disease, evaluation & management of glomerulonephritis, hypertension management, workup for and long term follow up of kidney transplant patients.
He is a self-proclaimed “wannabe” geologist before switching career tracks and joining medical school in southern India. Dr. Thomas was on the medical school jeopardy team and went to the national “Quiz Time”’ finals. Upon his graduation from medical school he did post-graduate training in internal medicine in India.
Dr. Thomas moved to Scotland and worked with the National Health Service for a couple of years. He then immigrated to Kentucky and trained at the University of Louisville in internal medicine & nephrology.
He joined The Kidney and Hypertension Center in 2000.
Racquetball and hiking are his two stress relievers.
