Brian Revis, MD
Dr. Revis was born and raised in Cincinnati. He chose nephrology due to the wide range of interesting clinical issues that nephrologists help treat. Dr. Revis aims to improve and promote the health of all his patients through comprehensive, evidence-based care. In addition to treating all general nephrology conditions, Dr. Revis performs interventional nephrology procedures.
Dr. Revis graduated from The Ohio State University with Honors, majoring in physics. He completed medical school and residency at the University of Cincinnati, where he was chosen as the resident speaker at commencement and asked to stay on as a chief resident. Returning to The Ohio State University for nephrology training, Dr. Revis was recognized with the distinguished second year fellow award. Upon completion of his training in 2012, he joined the Kidney and Hypertension Center, and was honored to serve as the group’s president in 2022 and 2023. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Revis participates in the education of medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner students across Greater Cincinnati. A lifelong fan of the Reds and Bengals, Dr. Revis also enjoys following FC Cincinnati. He has received numerous awards including the Arnold P Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, Cincinnati Magazine Top Doctor in Nephrology, and the Physician Recognition Award with Commendation from the American Medical Association. Dr. Revis enjoys hiking and playing the guitar.
