Dr. Tangirala developed a special interest in nephrology and hypertension management after being fascinated by acute kidney injury, acid base and electrolyte issues, and ICU nephrology during her residency training.
She believes in a patient-centric approach to treatment and shared decision making. Dr. Tangirala strives to provide the compassionate care that renal patients need and establish a long-term patient-doctor relationship.
Dr. Tangirala’s most common procedures are Hemodialysis, Peritoneal and Home-Hemodialysis, and Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, swimming, practicing yoga, traveling and cooking.
