The Kidney & Hypertension Center Welcomes Claire Petersen, Clinical Research Coordinator

The Kidney & Hypertension Center (KHC) is pleased to announce the addition of Claire Petersen as our new Clinical Research Coordinator. With a strong background in biology and medical genetics, Claire brings a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to advancing medical knowledge through research.

Claire’s career in clinical research began shortly after earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Arizona State University, and she later completed a master’s degree in Medical Genetics at the University of Cincinnati. Her experience includes guiding patients through clinical trial participation, making complex medical information accessible, and fostering positive, lasting relationships with research participants.

At KHC, Claire will play a key role in supporting our growing research department, which hosts clinical trials designed to explore innovative treatments and improve outcomes for individuals living with kidney disease and hypertension. Her dedication to patient education and collaborative care aligns with our mission to advance medicine and provide cutting-edge options for our community.
