The Kidney & Hypertension Center (KHC) is proud to have participated in the 2023 National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Cincinnati Kidney Walk on Sunday, May 21.
Our Commitment in Action
We’re pleased to share that our team raised $6,300 for the NKF. That’s money going straight to a leading organization that does so much for those affected by kidney disease. But we didn’t stop there – we also took on the role of sponsors for this year’s event, strengthening our commitment and support to the NKF’s mission.
It gave us immense satisfaction to know that our contribution would go a long way in supporting the NKF’s commendable initiatives, which include the following:
- Imparting comprehensive information and education on kidney disease to affected families
- Advocating policy amendments to safeguard the interests of kidney patients and donors
- Pioneering transplantation advancements to shrink the kidney transplant waiting list
Walking for a Cause
Every step we took during this year’s Kidney Walk was for our patients, community members and friends dealing with kidney disease. We’re already excited and looking forward to next year’s walk.
A Big Thanks, and Looking Forward
We couldn’t be prouder to have joined forces with the NKF for this important cause. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone on our staff and in our community who donated to our team, helping us reach our goal! Together, we’re making strides in the fight against kidney disease.
