Sara Atallah, MD, Joins The Kidney and Hypertension Center

We are excited to welcome Sara Atallah, MD, to The Kidney and Hypertension Center (KHC). With a deep passion for nephrology and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Atallah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team.

Meet Sara Atallah, MD

Dr. Atallah earned her medical degree from the Lebanese University in Lebanon, where she was actively involved in student advocacy and academic initiatives. She further honed her skills through rigorous training at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra in Staten Island, NY, and the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY. During her residency, Dr. Atallah was recognized for her dedication and excellence in patient care, earning the Recognition Award for Humanistic Medicine and being named Resident of the Year.

Specializing in managing hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and electrolyte abnormalities, Dr. Atallah is dedicated to advancing nephrology through both clinical practice and research. Her work in acute kidney injury management during the COVID-19 pandemic highlights her commitment to improving patient outcomes and contributing to the field of nephrology. She has also been actively involved in quality improvement initiatives and continues to contribute to medical journals as a peer reviewer.

Dr. Atallah is now welcoming patients at the following KHC locations: Davita Atrium, Fairfield, Mason, and Mercy West. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our patients and community.
