Courtney has been a nurse since 2005, starting in the cardiovascular ICU and then moved to the acute dialysis setting in 2016, where she was for 7.5 years before becoming a nurse practitioner.  Courtney never thought that she would go back to school to pursue her NP, but here we are! She loved being a dialysis nurse and loved the ins and outs of the procedure, as well as the patients. She initiated a lot of patients on dialysis and made sure to explain the procedure and what it all entails for them.  Courtney loves educating patients and empowering them to make informed decisions.

Courtney was raised in Northern Kentucky, where she still lives with her husband of 17 years and 2 children ages 14 and 9.  She is an avid reader and loves vacationing in Florida with her family.  During football season you’ll see her rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals, and when she is not at work, you’ll likely find her throwing some heavy weights around at the gym and listening to Taylor Swift.
