Christel had previous nursing experience in critical care and she always enjoyed the complexity of taking care of renal patients, particularly patients on CRRT. She finds it to be a rewarding specialty especially when your patients have good outcomes.

What sets her apart as a provider is her empathy for her patients. Having CKD or ESRD is challenging and comes with many lifestyle and dietary changes, so she tries to identify with her patients and make them aware that she is simply here to help guide them through managing their disease so that they can have a better quality of life.

Christel enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband, son, and their little frenchie. She is a Cincinnati native so she loves catching up on Cincinnati sports, particularly the Bengals and Reds!
