Amber started in nephrology as a charge nurse at a dialysis unit. She enjoyed working with the patients to achieve their lab goals and overall better quality of life. She worked in dialysis for 7 years and decided to go back to college to become a nurse practitioner. Upon graduation, Amber wished to remain in nephrology and joined The Kidney and Hypertension Center.

Amber is married with three children. She has two boys and one girl. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. They love to spend time outdoors hiking and riding bikes. She also enjoys traveling.
